Subcontractor Agreement- Elite Edge Flex

This agreement applies to all cleaners working with Elite Edge Cleaning through the Elite Edge Flex network.

 

By applying to join Elite Edge Flex or accepting cleaning work through Elite Edge Cleaning, you confirm that you agree to the terms below.

 

 

1. Independent Contractor Status

 

All cleaners operating through the Elite Edge Flex network act as independent self-employed subcontractors.

 

Nothing within this agreement creates an employer-employee relationship between the subcontractor and Elite Edge Cleaning.

 

Subcontractors are responsible for:

 

• their own income tax obligations

• their own National Insurance contributions

• their own business expenses

• their own insurance where applicable

• maintaining their own work availability

 

Elite Edge Cleaning operates as a service provider and booking platform connecting clients with independent cleaning professionals.

 

 

2. No Guarantee of Work

 

Elite Edge Cleaning does not guarantee:

 

• a minimum number of hours

• regular work

• a fixed schedule

 

Cleaning opportunities may be offered based on:

 

• location

• availability

• service type

• client demand

 

Subcontractors are free to accept or decline any work offered.

 

 

3. Service Standards

 

Subcontractors must maintain high professional standards when representing Elite Edge Cleaning.

 

This includes:

 

• punctual arrival at bookings

• professional behaviour in client homes or premises

• respectful communication with clients

• completion of services to a professional standard

• maintaining personal hygiene and appropriate appearance

 

Subcontractors must wear suitable clothing appropriate for cleaning work.

 

Failure to meet service standards may result in:

 

• removal from future job opportunities

• termination from the Elite Edge Flex network.

 

 

4. Operational Procedures

 

Subcontractors must follow Elite Edge Cleaning operational procedures when completing bookings.

 

These include:

 

• following the Elite Edge Cleaning cleaning checklist for the booked service

• completing tasks within the agreed time frame

• taking before and after photographs when required for quality control

• reporting any property damage immediately

• reporting client issues immediately

• ensuring properties are secure when leaving

 

Failure to follow procedures may result in removal from the network.

 

 

5. Equipment

 

Subcontractors may use their own cleaning equipment and materials unless otherwise agreed.

 

Where equipment is provided or rented through Elite Edge Cleaning:

 

• the equipment must be used responsibly

• the equipment must be returned in good condition

• any damage to equipment caused through negligence may be charged to the subcontractor

 

Subcontractors remain responsible for the work completed using any equipment.

 

 

6. Equipment Rental (Where Applicable)

 

Elite Edge Cleaning may offer equipment rental to subcontractors.

 

Equipment rental is optional and may include:

 

• vacuum cleaners

• steam cleaners

• carpet machines

• specialist cleaning equipment

 

Rental terms will be communicated separately where applicable.

 

Subcontractors remain responsible for the safe and correct use of rented equipment.

 

 

7. Liability

 

Subcontractors are responsible for any damage caused through:

 

• negligence

• improper cleaning methods

• misuse of cleaning chemicals

• misuse of equipment

 

Subcontractors agree to report any damage immediately.

 

Elite Edge Cleaning may assist with client communication; however, the subcontractor remains responsible for the service performed.

 

 

8. Insurance

 

Subcontractors are responsible for arranging their own public liability insurance where applicable to their business operations.

 

Elite Edge Cleaning does not guarantee insurance coverage for subcontractors unless explicitly stated.

 

Subcontractors acknowledge they operate as independent businesses.

 

 

9. Client Communication

 

All bookings must be arranged through Elite Edge Cleaning.

 

Subcontractors must not:

 

• accept direct payment from clients

• request payment directly from clients

• arrange private work with clients introduced by Elite Edge Cleaning

• provide personal contact details to clients for the purpose of bypassing Elite Edge Cleaning

 

All payments must be processed through Elite Edge Cleaning.

 

 

10. Non-Solicitation

 

Subcontractors must not attempt to obtain private work from clients introduced by Elite Edge Cleaning.

 

This restriction applies for 6 months following the last service completed for that client.

 

Attempting to bypass Elite Edge Cleaning may result in immediate removal from the Elite Edge Flex network.

 

 

11. Payment Terms

 

Payments to subcontractors are processed weekly.

 

The payment cycle runs:

 

Monday to Sunday

 

Payments for completed jobs will be issued every Friday for the previous week’s completed work.

 

Payment will only be issued once:

 

• the job is confirmed as completed

• any required photos or confirmations have been submitted

• no active customer disputes exist

 

Elite Edge Cleaning reserves the right to delay payment temporarily if a service complaint is under investigation.

 

 

12. Job Pricing

 

Subcontractors acknowledge that jobs may be priced:

 

• per job

• per service

• per property type

 

Subcontractors agree to the job price before accepting work.

 

Payment is based on the agreed job rate, not necessarily hourly time spent.

 

 

13. Attendance and Reliability

 

Subcontractors must attend all jobs they have accepted.

 

Failure to attend bookings without reasonable notice may result in:

 

• removal from the network

• restriction of future job opportunities.

 

 

14. Health and Safety

 

Subcontractors must follow all relevant health and safety practices.

 

This includes:

 

• safe use of chemicals

• safe use of cleaning equipment

• reporting hazards immediately

• refusing unsafe work environments

 

Subcontractors must not lift heavy furniture or undertake unsafe activities.

 

 

15. Right to Work Verification

 

All subcontractors must provide proof of their legal right to work in the United Kingdom before being offered work.

 

Elite Edge Cleaning reserves the right to refuse work opportunities where documentation cannot be verified.

 

 

16. Confidentiality

 

Subcontractors must treat all client information as confidential.

 

This includes:

 

• addresses

• contact details

• access codes

• security details

 

Client information must not be shared with third parties.

 

 

17. Platform Removal

 

Elite Edge Cleaning reserves the right to remove subcontractors from the Elite Edge Flex network at any time where:

 

• service standards are not met

• behaviour is unprofessional

• agreement terms are breached

• customer complaints arise repeatedly.

 

 

18. Agreement Acceptance

 

By signing below, the subcontractor confirms that they:

 

• understand they are working as a self-employed subcontractor

• accept responsibility for their own tax obligations

• agree to the terms outlined in this agreement.

19. Subcontractor Personnel Responsibility

The Subcontractor may appoint assistants or employees at their own discretion.

However, the Subcontractor remains fully responsible for:

• the conduct
• the performance
• the reliability
• and compliance with this agreement

of any individual attending jobs on their behalf.

Elite Edge Cleaning must be informed in advance of any person attending a booking who is not the named Subcontractor.

Elite Edge Cleaning reserves the right to refuse any individual not previously approved.

20. Non-Circumvention & Client Protection 

The Subcontractor agrees not to directly or indirectly:

• approach
• solicit
• accept work from
• or provide services to

any client introduced by Elite Edge Cleaning, outside of the Elite Edge Cleaning platform.

This applies during the agreement and for 6 months following the last completed booking.

This restriction applies to:

• the Subcontractor
• any employees
• any assistants
• any third parties acting on their behalf

21. Breach & Introduction Fee

In the event that the Subcontractor provides services directly to a client introduced by Elite Edge Cleaning, without written consent:

• Elite Edge Cleaning reserves the right to charge an introduction fee of £500 per client, or an amount equivalent to 6 months of expected service value (whichever is greater)

This is to compensate for loss of business and client acquisition costs.

22. Communication Control

All client communication relating to:

• bookings
• pricing
• scheduling
• complaints

must be handled through Elite Edge Cleaning.

Subcontractors must not negotiate pricing or services directly with clients.

23. Data Protection & Contact Restrictions

Subcontractors must not:

• store client contact details for personal use
• add clients to personal contact lists for business purposes
• retain client details after completing work outside of Elite Edge Cleaning systems

24. Availability & Booking Commitment

Once a booking is accepted, the Subcontractor is expected to:

• attend as scheduled
• complete the service

Repeated cancellations or failure to confirm attendance may result in immediate removal from the network.

25. Dispute Handling

In the event of a client complaint:

• the Subcontractor must cooperate fully
• provide any requested information
• and assist in resolving the issue

Elite Edge Cleaning reserves the right to:

• withhold payment
• request a re-clean
• or remove the Subcontractor from the platform

26. Amendments

Elite Edge Cleaning reserves the right to update or amend this agreement at any time.

Subcontractors will be notified of any material changes.
